Love Being Married

Thanks for the post, Kathy Shelton

I love being married but these last few months have been rocky. My husband lost his job and all he’s been doing is sitting at home all day watching satellite tv and eating his face off – it’s all I can do not to scream at him when I come in from work everyday. I think a big part of it is that he feels really ashamed for not being able to provide for us right now but he’s not doing anything to really get back out there and find a job. I think that he’s honestly just afraid of rejection but at the end of the day he’s going to have to take some risks to get the position that’s right for him. I love him to death and I want to be his support system but he’s really shut down right now and even his best friend says he isn’t talking about it. I don’t know what else I can do but wait this phase of his out.
