Finding an opportunity that will work for moms takes a bit of legwork. The type of job that will work depends heavily on your current child care situation. Ignoring the need for childcare will cause a lot of problems. Here are some tips for securing childcare.

These questions were designed to help you figure out a realistic work at home path that takes into account personal childcare responsibilities. Figuring out first home much time can be devoted to working is important.

1. How much childcare do you have? Answer this question honestly. If you think that you can juggle small children and work a forty hour week without childcare, it is not going to happen without staying up late, ignoring your spouse, eating frozen dinners, and having your children try to unplug your computer or hide your phone.

5.  Consider non phone jobs, if there is not really a way to take any type of work over the telephone consistently at the same time each day.

6. Hire part time child care whenever possible.

Even if you are working twenty hours a week in a non phone position, hire a babysitter when you can.

Childcare is not only for working hours, but for shopping, having a cup of coffee uninterrupted, to clean your house, or to do various errands that have been put off due to work responsibilities.

In home childcare is one way to work at home without being fearful or worrying about the environment the children are in as you work. Women that take non phone jobs, work in direct sales, mlm, or in any other field may need a few focused hours to finish work before a deadline or to make  few extra contacts to meet an income goal.

Before and after school programs usually are very inexpensive compared to regular daycare or nanny rates. There are programs in public schools, YMCA’s, and in community centers. You can choose only the morning, afternoon, or both times to send the children to while you work. Homeschooling parents may find that this is a great way to allow the children to play during the week with neighborhood children in a supervised environment.

It is easy to hire a college student or teenager to do this task for you at your home. Explore home daycare before and after school programs in your neighborhood that offer a snack, outdoor play, or other activities in their programs. Look for one that has children similar in age to your own.

Create a before and after school job  opening – Many college or high school students may desire to only work two to four hours a day, in a job that is not too demanding. Hire them for the before or after school time slot.

-Take time to create a childcare plan. Working from home does make work and home life blur together. Getting help can be the difference between making a few hundred dollars a month or several thousand dollars each month.
